Behaviour Help App: Data Driven FBAs and PBS Plans.
Getting started
- Sign up or log in. Your name, role and organisation appear in the header; edit them under My profile.
- On the dashboard, add an individual with the + card. Use the pencil to rename and the bin to delete.
- Click an individual's card to open their plan. The purple sidebar lets you switch individuals and stages at any time.
- Press Save on each page. Back/Next also save your changes before moving on.
- Information Sources – list interviews, reports, behaviour data collection forms, questionnaires and other sources used.
- Individual Profile – 19 pages describing the individual: personal details, health, communication, sensory, daily living, behaviours of concern and more.
- Behaviour Data Collection – create BDC forms (observation period, time interval, activities, recorders and the behaviours to record), then use Record Data to log frequency, duration and intensity. The Baseline Summary charts the data and calculates risk assessment scores.
- A-B-C Analysis – create A-B-C incident reports with the dimensions you need, then review the baseline incident charts and summarise antecedents and consequences for each behaviour of concern.
- Hypothesis – write a hypothesis statement explaining the function of each behaviour of concern.
- Review – a collated, printable Assess stage report.
- Escalation Stages – choose three, four or five stages in the individual's escalation cycle.
- Stage Description and Stage Specific De-Escalation – describe each stage and the strategies (with optional images) for it.
- Post-Intervention Behaviour Data – compare behaviour data and incidents after the plan is in place with the baseline.
- Review – a collated Manage stage report.
- Supportive Environment, Interaction and Activity – person-centred strategies, with optional files.
- Teach Skills – guidance on SMART goals, then the skills development plan and a fade-out plan for restrictive practices.
- Skills Data – track progress towards each SMART goal.
- Review – a collated Prevent stage report.
